Depression (Adults)

What Is Depression?

Depression is a common mental health condition that affects how you think, feel and behave. Whilst everyone experiences periods of sadness from time to time, depression often involves persistent low mood, loss of motivation and difficulty enjoying everyday life.

Many people describe feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by simple tasks, disconnected from others or unable to enjoy activities they once loved. Depression can affect confidence, sleep, concentration, relationships and overall wellbeing.
