Service Description

Evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, low mood, depression, stress, trauma, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, perfectionism, behavioural difficulties, phobias, and school-related stress. Delivered by a BABCP-accredited High-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker, sessions focus on understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, coping patterns, core beliefs, and attachment experiences, while building practical strategies to improve emotional wellbeing, confidence, routines, communication, behavioural responses, and day-to-day functioning at home, school, work, or within relationships. CBT is recommended by NICE guidelines and is one of the most effective evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, and many common mental health difficulties. Support is tailored to the individual and may include formulation work, emotional regulation strategies, behavioural support, exposure work, confidence-building, problem-solving skills, cognitive restructuring, psychoeducation, and practical coping tools to help people better understand how their mind and body respond to stress and difficult experiences. Online CBT therapy is available across the UK, with face-to-face appointments available in Oldham, Shaw, Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire, and surrounding areas.
