FAQ Page

This section covers service fees, session types, how I can help, and what you need to begin your path to wellness, success, or recovery.

Q: How accessible and flexible are you? A: Online therapy connects you with an NHS award-winning family mental health specialist, regardless of location. I work with children and families across the UK, offering flexible scheduling and eliminating travel costs. This service provides access to a CAMHS professional with expertise in family social work and a master's degree in CBT.

Q: How can I help you? A: I provide tailored services for individuals, families, and children, including: •Online Neurodiversity and Life Coaching. •CBT and DBT Talking Therapies using evidence-based protocols. I also offer a Parent Advisory Service with 1-to-1 consultations on: •Family support, referrals, and signposting. •Educational challenges and school refusal. •Behaviour management and conflict resolution. •Mental health, social, and emotional concerns. In addition, I conduct neurodiversity screenings and can refer or signpost you to private diagnostic professionals if needed.

Q: What are your service fees? A: I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and how I can help. Services, including therapy, neurodiversity coaching, assessments, and parent advice, start at £100 per hour, with fees ranging from £100-£250 depending on location and options. Visit my Contact Page to inquire and create your own package.

Q: What are your consultancy fees? A: Finding the right support is essential. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your concerns and how I can assist you or your organisation. My consultancy services provide expert advice and tailored solutions for individuals, families, and organisations. I diagnose issues, analyse data, and recommend actionable steps, with fees starting at £150 per hour or billed as a day rate. For personalised packages or more details, please contact me directly via my Contact Page or at info.priormindset@gmail.com.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment? A: I operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you notify me within 48 hours, we can reschedule. If you cancel within this period, the full fee is payable. Please check with your insurance provider regarding their cancellation policy.

Q: Why choose personal family therapy? A: Family therapy recognises that one family member’s mental health struggles can affect the entire family. Family therapy is very successful as it enhances communication, strengthens relationships, and resolves conflicts, building coping skills and improving support systems. By addressing underlying issues, family therapy fosters a healthier family dynamic.

Q: How do sessions work? A: Sessions are conducted remotely via Teams or Zoom, or Fact-To-Face. All lasting 50 minutes. The number of sessions is tailored to your needs, following evidence based guidance.

Q: How do I pay for my sessions/consultancy? A: Self-funding sessions require advance payment via cash or bank transfer. I invoice major health insurance companies directly—check your policy for coverage and contributions as they may only cover some of the fee. I can also invoice schools and local authorities for educational care or care packages.

Q: What should I prepare before my session? A: To make the most of therapy, prepare the following: 1.A4 Notepad: To note key points and insights. 2.A4 Folder: To organise worksheets and track your progress. 3.Initial Assessment Document: Complete and email this to info.priormindset@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your session. These steps help lay a solid foundation for your therapy journey.

Q: Will there be home tasks? A: Yes, home tasks are a vital part of therapy. They help you apply new skills between sessions and reinforce progress. Resources are provided early to reduce the need for frequent printing. Staying consistent with tasks ensures steady improvement and avoids extending treatment time.

Q: How can I help your organisation build inclusive workplaces for neurodiverse employees? A: I provide tailored guidance to help you support neurodiverse employees by implementing effective, reasonable adjustments that align with your organisational goals. With a proven NHS STAR Award for exceptional care, I bring expertise to help you foster an inclusive, resilient workplace that empowers neurodiverse team members and promotes lasting mental well-being.
