Welcome to the Prior Mindset website (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site or engage in services provided by Prior Mindset Ltd.

Prior Mindset Ltd (“Prior Mindset”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides therapy, coaching, and wellbeing services delivered primarily through secure online platforms. Our registered office is: [Insert Business Address].




3. Eligibility



  • Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over.

  • Clients under 18 may only access services with parental/guardian consent, in line with our Child Safeguarding Policy.

  • By booking a service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.





4. Services



  • Services may include therapy, life coaching, wellbeing support, and related sessions.

  • Services are delivered online using secure, encrypted platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom Healthcare/Enterprise).

  • Clinical notes and records are documented in WriteUpp, our secure system aligned with NHS data security standards.

  • Prior Mindset does not provide an emergency service. In crisis situations, you should contact 999 or your local emergency provider immediately.





5. Informed Consent



  • Before commencing services, clients must provide informed consent through WriteUpp.

  • Clients acknowledge they have been informed of:


    • The nature, benefits, and risks of services.

    • The limits of confidentiality (see section 9).

    • Their right to withdraw consent at any time.






6. Bookings, Cancellations & No-Shows



  • Bookings must be made through Prior Mindset’s approved booking system.

  • Cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid charges.

  • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours’ notice) or no-shows will be charged at the full session fee, except in exceptional circumstances at Prior Mindset’s discretion.

  • If Prior Mindset cancels a session, an alternative appointment will be offered at no cost.





7. Fees & Payments



  • Session fees are clearly displayed at the point of booking.

  • Payments must be made in advance or as otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Refunds are processed in accordance with our Cancellation & No-Show Policy.





8. Client Responsibilities



Clients agree to:


  • Provide accurate personal information, including emergency contact details.

  • Ensure they attend sessions in a safe, private environment with stable internet connection.

  • Refrain from recording, screenshotting, or otherwise capturing session content (see Recording & Images Policy).

  • Treat staff with respect and maintain professional boundaries.





9. Confidentiality & Data Protection



  • All information shared is treated confidentially in line with our Confidentiality & Data Protection Policy.

  • Confidentiality may only be broken if:


    • There is a risk of serious harm to you or others.

    • There are safeguarding concerns involving children or vulnerable adults.

    • Disclosure is required by law (e.g. court order, terrorism offences).


  • Data is stored securely in WriteUpp and retained in line with NHS Records Management Code of Practice.





10. Safeguarding



  • Prior Mindset has separate Child Safeguarding and Adult Safeguarding Policies.

  • Practitioners are trained to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.

  • Any concerns may be referred to statutory safeguarding agencies.





11. Technology & Security



  • Only approved, encrypted platforms may be used for sessions.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their own devices and internet connection are secure.

  • Prior Mindset is not liable for service disruption due to client-side technical issues.





12. Limitation of Liability



  • Prior Mindset will deliver services with reasonable skill and care.

  • We are not responsible for outcomes beyond our professional role, including emergency situations outside sessions.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.





13. Complaints



  • Clients may raise complaints in accordance with our Complaints Policy.

  • Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and investigated within 20 working days.

  • If dissatisfied, clients may escalate to an appropriate independent body (e.g. BACP, NMC, ICO).





14. Intellectual Property



  • All content on this Site, including text, graphics, and materials, is the intellectual property of Prior Mindset Ltd.

  • Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.





15. Cookies & Privacy



  • The Site uses cookies to improve user experience. See our Cookies Policy for details.

  • By using the Site, you consent to the use of cookies as outlined.





16. Changes to These Terms
